The buffet is good, but does not compare to Las Vegas, but then again it is cheaper in Laughlin. The Baja grill is OK, but only usually open on weekends and typically in peak seasons. The Café is very good at Laughlin and the portions are good too. Typically Harrahs Laughlin and say Harrahs Las Vegas is like half the food prices. I have made several trips where I got to Laughlin and then Vegas and Laughlin always treats me better. Usually like $25 to $35, but are on par with the shows in the $75 to $100 range in Vegas. The shows are much cheaper (if you even have to pay).
There is no real entertainment at Harrahs aside from the occasional show. During the spring and summer months there is a younger crowd (more so on the weekends). During the winter months there is an older crowd (snowbirds). The atmosphere has changed over the years. I have visited Harrahs Laughlin dozens of times over the past 20 years.
